Fantasy art is what gives life a sense of beauty.
Beauty is what turns the human experience a creative one as opposed to the animal life that mechanically lives driven merely by the basic biological instincts with no sense of aesthetic experience at all.
We humans possess aesthetic as well as cognitive dimensions of awareness, and we should be thankful to our evolution for that.
Unfortunate are the men and the women who turn insensitive to either aesthetic or cognitive or both the dimensions of existence and start living a mechanical life turning them into a money making machine and nothing more than that.
One who earns must spend to keep money in circulation, or else it gets stagnated, stagnating life along.
But the question is what to spend this money the best way on.
The less evolved spend it on and for satiating merely their biological drives.
The aesthetic human evolution gets a sense of a higher kind of joy when its aesthetic drives get satiated through either creating or appreciating in depth an aesthetic event or a masterpiece of creative beauty that turns out to be one's proudest possession... prouder than even the best car or the best home on earth!
A thing of beauty is REALLY a joy forever. A beautiful painting or a life size sculpture does add quality to our luxury homes as well as to our life.
